These specially designed scissors make opening quail eggs a breeze. Unlike standard scissors, one side of the scissors has an oval shape with a hole in it, and the other side has a blade with a point in the middle. To use quail egg scissors, hold your egg with the tapered end up, open the scissors and position the hole down onto the egg. As you close the scissors, the point of the other side pierces into the egg shell and cuts the tapered end off, so you can pour the egg from the shell.
